Trevi (PG), Umbria: an olive oil town

Antica Loggia’s home town: a medieval village among the olive groves of the Umbrian Valley.

On its hill, above the valley

Trevi sits on its own hill at the heart of the olive belt between Assisi and Spoleto, and its Ecomuseum of the olive landscape and oil is recognised by the Umbria Region.

Antica Loggia is right inside the village, in an old 17th-century building that has recently been restored.

Trevi’s olive oil

The FestivOl organisers call Trevi ‘the capital of olive oil’.

The town lies within the production area of DOP Umbria extra virgin olive oil, and Moraiolo is among the local varieties.

From the windows of Antica Loggia you look out over the valley’s olive groves; you can see them in the listing photos too.

The Olive Civilisation Museum

It is in the San Francesco museum complex, in the old town.
